When Christians meet in fellowship
something special occurs
it’s a touch of heavenly love
the Spirit of God will stir
____
it’s almost like being with Jesus
seeing warm friendly smiles
upon the faces of each saint
it makes the day worthwhile
____
warm and glowing this fondness grows
as one enjoys the other
belonging to God’s family circle
all are sisters and brothers
____
by the blood of the Lamb of God
we share a common bond
that sacrifice was paid for us
which love is based upon
____
Jesus said we should love each other
it is His great concern
because He knows the enemy’s ways
He prays that we should learn
____
thus life is more enjoyable
when folks will gather round
to have a good time being friends
and let our love abound
____
but most of all the love for God
is central to our heart
where we find the power to love
to others we impart?
